La Vie Rustic: Cooking & Living in the French Style is a fabulous cookbook by James Beard Award winning author and chef Georgeanne Brennan. La Vie Rustic is also Georgeanne's online store and blog. It was an honor to help bring this book to life. I loved art directing, designing, and laying this one out!

I got to work with one of my favorite photographers again, Ms. Sara Remington, along with the lovely Ethel Brennan (Georgeanne's daughter) as food & prop stylist. The rest of the team was also top notch, including the smart, sassy, and kind photo shoot team on set at Sara’s studio (photo by moi). Here’s a little video I put together of the final photo shoot at Ethel’s place.

I’ve included one of my mood boards. I adore mood boards. Glad we got to include Sara’s “stock” shot from this board (upper right corner) in the front matter of the final book.
